Now that you’ve created a store on Smartbiz, it’s time to configure delivery settings as per your requirement.
A. Configuring in-store pickup
If you have a physical store, you can provide customers the option to directly pick up their orders from your store. To enable in-store pick up for customers-
- Go to 'Profile' tab on your Smartbiz account.
- Toggle the 'Pickup' switch to on if you want to enable customer self-pickup in your physical store.
- Next update your store timings so that customers pickup their order only when the store is open.
- To do this, click on 'Store Timings' in your profile tab and update the store working hours and days. Customers will be able to view the store timings while placing their order on your website.
B. Enabling home delivery
You can either deliver the order using your own courier partner (self-ship) or use a shipping partner on Shiprocket. Learn how to setup Shiprocket here. To enable home delivery, follow the below steps:
- Toggle the ‘Delivery’ option in your profile tab to on.
- Next, add your delivery radius so that customers will be able to see if your shop will deliver to their location. Go to ‘Profile’ tab and then click on ‘Delivery Settings’.
- Click on 'Set Delivery Radius' and add the number of kilometers from where your shop will deliver to customers. If you provide pan-India shipping, select 'All India Coverage'
- Click on 'Save' after making your changes.
- Once you’ve updated delivery radius, you can charge your customer’s a fixed delivery fee for fulfilling home-delivery by navigating to your profile > Delivery Settings > Set delivery charges.
- You can either charge a flat delivery fee on all orders or provide free shipping above a certain order value. If you do not update any delivery fee, no shipping fee will be applied on your orders.
- You can set 'Shipping Time' by navigating to Delivery Settings > Set Shipping Time. Enter the minimum and maximum number of days it takes for you to deliver an order to a customer. By default, shipping time is set to 3-5 days. Note: Shipping time will be visible to customers on your Smartbiz website and will be applicable to all products in your catalog.
Note: Delivery fees set by you will be applicable on all orders.

C. What should I do if I am unable to accept orders?
If for some reason you are unable to ship orders to customers, you can prevent customers from placing their orders on your store by turning off the ‘Accept Orders’ toggle in your profile tab. This way customers will not be able to add products to their cart on your store.
Once you are available to accept orders again, you can toggle ‘Accept Orders’ to on.
D. Configure Delivery Settings (Desktop App)
Configuring in-store pickup

1. Navigate to profile section on your Smartbiz Desktop Seller App.
2. Click on the dropdown arrow and you will see “Pickup” as an option.
3. Toggle the 'Pickup' switch to on if you want to enable customer self-pickup in your physical store.
4. Next update your store timings so that customer’s pickup their order only when the store is open.
5. Alternatively, you can also navigate to Store Configuration and you will find an option of “Store Timings”.
6. You can edit working hours and working days according to your business requirements.
Enabling home delivery

Note – Make sure the address added by you in the profile section is the same address customers need to pick up their order from
1. Toggle the ‘Delivery’ option in your profile tab to “ON”.
2. Toggle the “Delivery” option in your profile tab to “OFF” when you don’t opt for any delivery of your orders but orders can be accepted and customers can pick up from your store.
3. When you toggle your delivery option to “OFF’ and any of your customer orders anything from your store then they will have to pick up the item from your store.
4. However, if you toggle to “OFF” both “Pickup” and “Delivery” then customers will not any option to buy from your store.
