Set up Shiprocket account

SmartBiz by Amazon has partnered with Shiprocket as a delivery partner to help you ship orders for your e-commerce website.

Shiprocket is a third-party shipping aggregator that can automatically connect you with multiple shipping service providers to help you deliver your products across India.

A. Shiprocket set up

  1. Go to the ‘Profile’ page on your SmartBiz account and select ‘Delivery Settings’.
  2. Click on ‘Manage courier for delivery’ to set up your Shiprocket account. You can also set this up once you receive an order.
  3. Select ‘Setup Now’ to create an account.
  4. Enter your email address. Please note that you will receive all delivery related updates on this email ID.
  5. Click on ‘Proceed to create an account’.
  6. Your Shiprocket account is set up now.

 

B. Recharge Shiprocket wallet

Shiprocket is a pre-paid service. You will get free credits of INR. 500 in your Shiprocket account after you create an account.

Note: You will need to maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 200 in your Shiprocket wallet subsequently. Follow the below steps to top up your wallet:

  1. Go to ‘Profile’ tab and click on delivery settings. Next, click on ‘Manage courier for delivery’.
  2. Click on ‘Add Money’ to add funds to your Shiprocket wallet.
  3. Enter the required amount of money to top-up your Shiprocket wallet balance. 
  4. You can add money using multiple payment modes – UPI, Credit card, Netbanking, etc.
  5. Check out using your selected payment mode and complete your payment.

C. Add a new pickup address

  1. For shipment pickup, there is an option to add multiple pick up addresses in a dropdown.
  2. This is not available in the Smartbiz app and you need to use the Shiprocket website to update this.
  3. First step is to go to www.shiprocket.in and click ‘login’.
  4. Login to your Shiprocket account using your phone number. Enter the OTP that you received on your phone.
  5. Now go to the ‘settings’ page and click on ‘manage pickup addresses’ under the ‘pickup address’ tab.
  6. On this page, click on ‘add pickup address’ and add your new address.
  7. Once you have updated the new address, verify using OTP.
  8. Update the OTP and click ‘Save Address’ to add the new pickup address.
  9. Now go back to the Smartbiz app and you will see the new address in the drop down for ‘pickup address’.
