The Meta pixel is a piece of code that you put on your website which allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions that people take on your website.
Once you've set up the Meta pixel, you will be able to track the actions taken by the customers on your website.
Examples of actions include adding an item to their shopping cart, initiating checkout or making a purchase. The pixel receives these actions, or events, which you can view on your Meta pixel page in Events Manager.
From there, you'll be able to see the actions that your customers take. You'll also have options to reach to those customers again through future Meta ads.

- Select Meta Pixel and add the Meta Pixel ID you copied from your Meta Events Manager in the field below

Step 3: Test your Pixel
Once you have added your pixel to your SmartBiz website, it will start tracking events. Visit the pixel dashboard in Meta Events Manager to see if your website events are being tracked by the pixel. You can also test your events by visiting the “Test events” tab to check if all your data is firing correctly. Most events should reflect within 5-10 minutes on your dashboard, but sometimes it can take up to an hour.
If you don’t see any data reflecting on your pixel dashboard, try deleting your pixel from the website and add it again. Re-check the ID before submitting. If you’re seeing any errors or warnings in the diagnostics tab, see how to troubleshoot them.
