7. FAQs

1. Why don’t I see online payments on my store yet?

Your KYC might still be under review. Online payments appear only after Razorpay verifies your account.

2. My customer paid online, but the order shows pending—why?

This may happen if Razorpay takes a few minutes to confirm the payment.
Wait 5–10 minutes and refresh. If still pending, check:

  • Razorpay Dashboard for payment status

  • Internet connectivity

  • Whether customer used a failed or expired payment link

3. Where do settlements go?

Settlements are deposited directly into the bank account you provided during KYC.

4. Can I refund an order without the customer asking?

Yes. You can initiate refunds anytime from the Razorpay Dashboard.

5. What if Instant Refund fails?

Razorpay will automatically fallback to Standard Refund, and the Instant Refund charge will not apply.

6. Does SmartBiz charge extra for online payments?

No. Only Razorpay transaction fees apply.

7. Can I download a statement of all payments?

Yes. Razorpay Dashboard → Reports → Download monthly or custom reports.
