Create Your SmartBiz Account via Mobile:
It is time to build your store using Smartbiz! This Help article circulates the list of steps that you need to follow to create your Smartbiz account in 5 mins post downloading the Smartbiz app from playstore.
1. You can create a SmartBiz account using your existing Amazon credentials. If you do not have an existing Amazon account, you will need to create one.
2. Next, enter your business details. Select a store name for your website. Please ensure that you enter the store name correctly as this cannot be changed later.
3. Enter the categories that you sell on your storefront. These can be edited later from your profile.
4. Add your store address. This location will help customers pick up their orders from your stores directly. In case you don't have a physical store, you can enter your home address and disable the store pickup option from your store later.
5. You can review SmartBiz default policies and edit them as applicable for your store. Once done, confirm that you have read store policies and click 'Continue'.
Congratulations! You have successfully created your storefront.
To complete your store setup, you will need to configure your delivery settings, customize your storefront, add listings to your catalog and setup payment options.
Create Your SmartBiz Account via Desktop:
This tutorial guides you through creating your SmartBiz account. You will complete all necessary verification and setup steps to launch your online store successfully.
1. Click Create Amazon Account
Click the Create your Amazon account button to begin the registration process.
2. Select Mobile Number Verification
Type in your name, mobile number and set up your password. Subsequently, click the Verify mobile number option to confirm your contact details for account security.
3. Click Verify OTP Button
Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number and click the Create your Amazon account Button to verify the same.
4. Click Add Email Button
Click the Add button to proceed with adding your email.
5. Enter Email Address
Type in your email address and subsequently click Add email address to include an account email. (mandatory)
6. Click Verify OTP Button Again
Click the Verify OTP Button to confirm the new email address with the one-time password sent.
7. Click Save Changes
Click Save changes to apply the updates made to your account information.
8. Click Done to Finish Account Information
Click Done to complete the account information update process.
9. Add Store Name
Select a store name for your website. Please ensure that you enter the store name correctly as this cannot be changed later. Click on Next post entering your store name.
10. Add Store Address and Store Policies
Type in your store address. You can also view the default store policies which can be edited later as per your convenience.
11. Category Selection
Confirm your category choices and click Next to continue.
12. Click Finish to Complete
You can choose to share more details about your business or choose to skip this step. Click on Finish to complete store creation for your SmartBiz account.
13. Successful Store Creation
Congratulations! You have successfully created your storefront. To complete your store setup, you will need to configure your delivery settings, customize your storefront, add listings to your catalog and setup payment options.
