a) Access cart customization settings
1. Log in to smartbiz.amazon.in. and navigate to Store Configuration.
2. Click Website Appearance to access storefront customization settings.
3. Click Customise and select the storefront version you want to customize (published storefront or draft version).
4. Use the dropdown menu to navigate to Cart Settings.
b) Choose a cart experience
1. Click the three-dot menu within Cart Settings.
2. Select the cart experience you want to offer customers (Side Cart/ Full Page Cart) and mark your preferred option as Active by clicking on Mark as Active.
3. Verify that the Active tag appears next to the selected option.
4. Click Publish to apply and make your customization changes live on your storefront.
c) Enable the Side Cart experience
1. If you select Side Cart, Mark Side Cart as the active option and click Publish to make the change live.
What your customers will experience:
- When customers click Add to Cart, the cart opens directly on the right-hand side of the page.
- Customers remain on the same page without being redirected to a separate cart page.
- Customers can add their address and choose a payment method directly from the side cart to proceed with checkout.
d) Enable the Full Page Cart experience
1. If you select Full Page Cart, mark Full Page Cart as the active option and click Publish to make the change live.
What your customers will experience:
- When customers click Add to Cart, they continue shopping until they choose to view their cart.
- Customers must click View Cart to access the cart page.
- Checkout is completed from the dedicated cart page.
e) Publish storefront changes
1. Review your selected cart configuration and click Publish to apply the changes to your storefront.
