Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that:
- You are logged in to smartbiz.amazon.in.
- You have permission to edit your store settings.
- You have decided on your new store name and preferred store URL.
- Your desired store URL meets the SmartBiz eligibility requirements.
1. Log in to smartbiz.amazon.in. and click Settings to open your store configuration panel.
2. Navigate to the Shop Name section.
3. Click the Shop Name field and enter your new store name to reflect your brand identity.
NOTE: Choose a store name that is easy for customers to remember and closely matches your business or brand.
4. Click the Store Link field and enter your preferred store URL.
5. If the URL is available and meets the eligibility criteria, a green check mark will appear and the Save Changes button will be enabled. Otherwise, you'll see an error message prompting you to choose a different URL.
6. Click Save Changes to apply your updated store name and URL.
7. Click Save Changes again if prompted to confirm your updates.
To improve your store's visibility on search engines, Update your SEO settings by following the below steps:-
1. Click the Growth tab to update SEO settings for optimization.
2. Select SEO. Click Title Tag and update your Title Tag.
3. Click the Enter Meta Description field to update your SEO meta description and save your changes.
