A. How to share your store/ product with your customers?
You can promote your store online via social media by following the below mentioned steps.
- Go to your SmartBiz app homepage, and you will see your online store URL here. Note: Store URL will be visible only after you have completed payment setup and listed at least one product on your catalog.
- Click on the share option and start sharing the URL with your customers.
- Alternatively, click on the profile tab on your SmartBiz app.
- Click on the option ‘Share store’.
You will see two options to share your store:
- A QR code that you can download and share on popular social media and chat commerce platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, etc. or provide for immediate scan.
- A website link that will direct customers to your online store. You can share this link on chat, social media, email, SMS, and other platforms.
You can promote your website in your physical store as well by placing your online store’s QR code on placards, as in-store danglers, standees, and merchandise, across pamphlets, brochures, posters, and other marketing collateral within your physical store to encourage customers to shop directly online the next time onwards.
B. Where should you share your link?
Use social media to let your followers know about your store
If you have a social media account, you can use that to let your followers know about your online store. On social media, you can update your profile description to add your store link, post products on stories with swipe-up links for customers to directly make the purchase, create highlights for products/FAQs, etc.
Send an email/ SMS to your existing customers
Another way to let people know about your online store is to email/ SMS your existing customers. This will help your existing customers explore your newly created online store and drive organic traffic to the same.
Tell your close friends and family about your store
You can reach out to your friends and family with your online store. You can also ask them if they know anyone who might be interested in visiting your site. This will help you in two major ways: first, you will be able to drive some word-of-mouth marketing, and second, you'll get honest feedback.
Use chat/ instant messaging to connect with customers
Instant messaging platforms like WhatsApp are a great way to communicate with customers and reach out to people in your contacts. You can set up a bot or create standard templates for sending various types of messages and updates to your existing customers, such as welcome messages, new product alerts, deals/ sale events, etc.
You can now redirect customers across several channels to your online store and increase traffic to drive sales from your online store.
